Pre-Race
Please have packets picked up by 4 to make sure you are able to get to the starting line in time for your event.
RACE PACKETS: Race packets will be available at the Sanford Event Center
1111 Event Center Drive, Bemidji MN, 56601 - during the following day/times:
All runners must show a photo ID to pick-up their race packet. If you are picking up a packet for someone else, you must show a copy of their photo ID along with their consent.

- Saturday, October 10th: 7 am - 8 am

Course Information
1/2K and 1K Course: This event will take place in the parking lot of the Sanford Center.
AN ADULT IS ALLOWED RUN WITH A CHILD PARTICIPATING IN THIS RACE.
5K Course (Course open for 90 Minutes): This event will start and finish at the Sanford Center. It will be an out and back course along the south shore of Lake Bemidji, turning around just past Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox.
10K Course (Course open for 90 Minutes): This event will start and finish at the Sanford Center. It will be an out and back course along the south shore of Lake Bemidji, turning around at The City of Bemidji's Cameron Park.
STARTING LINE:
1/2K: The 1/2K starts at 4:20 pm.
PLEASE BE AT THE STARTING LINE 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START.
1K: The 1K starts at 4:30 pm.
PLEASE BE AT THE STARTING LINE 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START.
5K: The 5K starts at 5:00 pm.
PLEASE BE AT THE STARTING LINE 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START.
10K: The 10K starts at 5:00 pm.
PLEASE BE AT THE STARTING LINE 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START.
Runners should line up according to their projected finishing times at the starting line. Walkers and slower runners must start in the back rows.
Water will be available at the finish.
RACECOURSE COURTESY: Please be considerate of your surroundings during The Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon races.
Runners who have finished the race need to avoid interference with runners approaching the finish line.

Medals: Medal will be handed out as runners finish
Information Center / Lost & Found An information table will be available in the Ballroom during the Be Active Expo. On Friday, Lost & Found will be available at the information table On Saturday, Lost & Found will move to the Gear Check room, Lakeview Room #6.
Awards Ceremony: Overall Winners will be presented with awards at the following times in the Ballroom:

6:00 pm: Award Ceremony for 5K and 10K Overall Winners
Age Group Awards: Age Group Awards: Preliminary results will be posted throughout the day near the stage in the Ballroom. Age Group Awards will be available after the awards ceremonies for respective races. The categories for the age group awards for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, 26K, and Marathon are as follows: Male & Female 01-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & UP
