Are you looking for a Paul Bunyan sized challenge? We invite you to take part in the 26K race (around Lake Bemidji).​
  • This race will loop the entire Lake Bemidji starting and finishing at the Sanford Center.
  • The route is fairly flat consisting of about 50% paved bike trail and 50% paved road.

Marathon: Mile 1.5, 7.5, 12, 17, 20, 22, 24, 25
26K: Mile 3, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16
Half: Mile 4, 7, 9, 11, 12

The Blue Ox Half Marathon is a scenic road course on all paved roads and trails. 

Runner in the Half will be bused to a starting line approximately 3 miles up the Paul Bunyan Trail to the Half Marathon Starting Line. This will allow runner to complete a Half Marathon and finish at the Sanford Center.
