2020 Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon Virtual Event Information
 
As a registered 2020 Blue Ox participant you will be automatically entered into the virtual version of your race. All you need to do is run your race wherever you want, whenever you want - while following the safety measures that have been laid out by your local government regarding COVID-19. 
 
As a virtual participant you will receive:
  • 2020 Blue Ox Long-Sleeve Tech Shirt
  • 2020 Blue Ox Finisher Medal
  • Gift from Sanford Health
  • Free 10oz. beer or non-alcoholic drink from Bemidji Brewing (Good for the month of October)
  • Swag from our great sponsors/partners 
 
To make this event fun and inspiring for everyone, please share photos and stories with us when you choose to run. Watch for more information on our website and social media accounts with more information on how to do this.

Mile Markers:

The Blue Ox Marathon race committee plans to set up mile markers for the Blue Ox races.
Dates the that mile markers will be October 9 & 10, weather permitting.

Race Packets:

All registration prior to September 29th have either been picked up, or were mailed by October 2nd. 

For registration made between September 29 and October 8th:
Local Packet Pick-up:
10/9: 3p-5p @ Lake Bemidji Bed and Breakfast front lawn. 
- Packets not picked up will be mailed soon after.

You can pick up packets for others with their permission. This will help limit the amount of people coming to pick up packets.

Lake Blvd is a ONE-WAY with traffic moving North. Please park along the street.


Uploading Times:
 
Uploading times is not required to receive your Shirt, Medal, or other Swag.
All registered participants will be sent their swag (if they don't pick it up locally). 
The link for uploading times will be emailed to each participant, as all runners get their own link.
The email will come from Pickle Events though mtecresults [email protected]
Runners can run anywhere at anytime. 
Upload Dates: October 9 - October 31

As of 9/27:
1/2K: 5 spots remain
1K: Event at capacity. If your child would like to participate, register them for the 1/2K (same medal/shirt).
5K: Event at capacity.
5K Shirt, Bib, and other Swag (NO medal): 20 spots remain
10K: Event at capacity.
Half: 60 spots remain
26K: 20 spots remain
Full: ​10 spots remain
